How AI was used
Videos are generated with Google Flow (a third-party tool). I didn't build a video model. My work is the workflow, prompts and creative direction.

The problem

Short-form video is the cheapest way to reach buyers, but filming yourself every day is slow. Generative video tools make it possible, but only if the output is consistent enough to look like a series and not a set of random clips.

What I designed

  • A recurring presenter character with a fixed identity (face and build), with a new outfit per video, so every clip feels like the same series
  • Scene-by-scene prompt templates: setting, action, camera, lighting, duration
  • Vertical 9:16 framing and platform-specific specs for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
  • Reusable templates, so a new video starts from a filled-in form rather than a blank prompt

Workflow

Production pipeline
  1. 1Brief

    • Goal & CTA
    • Audience
    • 10–30 s length
  2. 2Script

    • Hook in 2 s
    • Scene list
    • On-screen text
  3. 3Prompt

    • Character sheet (fixed identity)
    • Per-scene prompt template
    • Camera & lighting notes
  4. 4Generate & edit

    • Google Flow clips
    • Consistency check
    • Cut, captions, export 9:16

What generative AI is good and bad at here

  • Good: speed, variety of settings, no camera or studio needed
  • Hard: keeping the same face and outfit across clips, hands and text in frame
  • The fix is process, not luck: fixed character descriptions, short scenes and a consistency check before editing

An ongoing experiment. I'm not claiming audience or growth numbers. The deliverable is a repeatable workflow that someone else could follow.
